Harley Davidson Flhc: Softail Rear Shock Pre-load Adjuster
Recall Summary Harley-Davidson is recalling 2,035 motorcycles from multiple Softail and Touring models because the rear shock pre-load adjuster mounting bracket may crack during normal riding. If this happens and goes unnoticed, the adjuster could rub against the rear tire and cause it to lose pressure suddenly. Harley-Davidson will install a secondary support bracket underneath the rear shock adjuster to prevent this problem.
