Blue Bird Body Company: Damaged Wiring May Disrupt Critical Safety Functions (electrical System)
Recall Summary Blue Bird Body Company is recalling certain 2023-2027 Vision Transit Buses because a 12V power wire in the electrical system may become damaged and short circuit. This electrical problem could disable safety features like rear lights or dashboard warning lights, which increases crash risk. Blue Bird will add a fuse and repair the wiring at no cost to owners.

- Reason
- An electrical short can cause a disruption to safety functions such as a loss of rear lighting or instrument panel warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy: Dealers will add an in-line fuse and repair the wire harnesses as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 9, 2026.
