Recall Summary Lightweight dinosaur-print backpacks designed for kindergarten-age children have been recalled in South Korea because the metal zipper parts contain dangerously high levels of lead and cadmium. The lead levels measured 13.8 to 15.9 times higher than the safety standard, and cadmium levels were 1.2 times higher than allowed. Lead and cadmium exposure can cause skin and eye problems, nervous system damage, and in children, kidney damage and reduced learning ability.
