Mitsubishi Outlander: Possible Loss Of Drive

Recall Summary Mitsubishi is recalling 574 Outlander vehicles due to a manufacturing defect in the transfer box oil seal that may cause it to shift out of position. This can lead to transmission fluid leaking into the transfer case, resulting in poor shifting, warning lights, fluid leaks onto the road, and in severe cases, complete loss of drive. Affected owners should have their transfer box inspected and replaced if necessary.
