BMW 7, 5 - Brandgefahr
Recall Summary BMW is recalling certain 7 and 5 Series vehicles built between March 2016 and June 2020 because an error during a previous starter relay recall may have resulted in the wrong relay being installed. This incorrect relay can cause the positive battery cable to loosen, potentially leading to a short circuit, sparks, and fire. BMW will inspect and replace the starter if necessary.
