Mitsubishi Truck Canter: Track Rod Could Become Detached

Recall Summary Mitsubishi is recalling 1,323 Canter trucks because dust covers on the steering track rod end ball joints may not seal properly, allowing water and dirt to enter. This can cause the ball joint to wear excessively, and in extreme cases, the track rod could detach, affecting the vehicle's steering control. The remedy involves replacing the track rod ends with modified units.
