Recall Summary Pokémon Pikachu children's sneakers and similar children's athletic shoes made by Potdemiel (imported from China) are being recalled because plastic decorative ornaments on the shoes contain phthalate-based plasticizers at levels 20 to 29 times higher than the legal limit. Exposure to these chemicals at elevated levels may cause liver and kidney damage. The recall affects products distributed in South Korea.
