- Although specifications regarding related substances have been established for Maxacalcitol Ointment 25 μg/g “Iwaki,” stability testing of certain lots yielded results that did not meet the approved specifications. Following this, we investigated reference samples of this product within their expiration dates and determined that five lots deviated from the approved specifications for related substances. Therefore, we have decided to voluntarily recall the aforementioned lots that are still within their expiration dates.
