Nissan Motor () Micra: Driver Airbag May Fracture During Detonation
Nissan is recalling 1,919 Micra vehicles because the driver airbag inflator may have been assembled incorrectly, which could cause it to crack or break apart if the airbag deploys in a crash. The issue stems from a blocked gas flow path that increases pressure inside the inflator during deployment. Affected vehicles will need to be inspected and have the driver airbag replaced if necessary.
