Audi E-tron Gt: Replace Battery Module
Audi E-Tron GT Battery Recall Summary Audi is recalling 18 E-Tron GT vehicles due to defective battery modules that could pose a fire risk. The affected battery modules have parameter deviations that may cause them to fail during the vehicle's lifespan, potentially resulting in fires that could injure or kill occupants and bystanders or cause property damage. Audi will replace the affected battery modules, and owners should limit charging to 80 percent capacity and avoid charging or parking under cover until the repair is completed.

- Reason
- Deviations to various important parameters were discovered on the affected battery modules. These may result in the affected battery modules becoming defective over the course of the vehicle’s service life. In turn this represents a fire hazard with the associated risk of severe or fatal injuries to people inside and/or outside the vehicle as well as significant material damage. Remedy: Replace individual modules of the high-voltage battery. To minimise this risk the manufacturer advises that you limit the charging target to 80 percent capacity until the inspection has been carried out....
