Mercedes-benz Cars E-class: Electrical Wiring In Steering Assembly May Be Insufficiently Grounded
Recall Summary Mercedes-Benz is recalling approximately 169,758 E-Class and C-Class vehicles because electrical wiring in the steering assembly may not be properly grounded. A faulty steering column clock spring could cause warning lights to appear on the dashboard or, in rare cases, cause the driver's airbag to deploy unexpectedly.
