Teko: Missing Pedestrian Warning Sounds (back Over Prevention)

Teko is recalling certain 2026 Triumph, Turbo, TurboLite, Trophy, and Trophy Plus vehicles because some may be missing the acoustic warning system that makes pedestrian alert sounds. Without this sound, pedestrians may not hear the vehicle approaching, which could increase the risk of crashes or injuries. Teko will provide a free installation kit for affected owners.

Product
Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION. Teko Inc (Teko) is recalling certain 2026 Triumph, Turbo, TurboLite, Trophy, and Trophy Plus vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 141, "Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles."
Reason
A vehicle that does not make a sound may fail to alert pedestrians of an approaching vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. Remedy: Teko will provide an AVAS kit, free of charge.
