Recall Summary Spartan Fire is recalling certain 2024-2027 emergency vehicles (FC-94, METRO STAR, GLADIATOR, KME PREDATOR, and KME PANTHER models) due to a software issue in the drive pump transfer case that could cause sudden loss of power to the wheels. - Reason
- Issue: On certain emergency vehicles, a software problem could cause the drive pump transfer case to disengage. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. This could also delay emergency response and increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Spartan Fire will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
