Lamborghini Aventador J: Risk Of Fire
Recall Summary Lamborghini is recalling 2,705 vehicles (Aventador J, Veneno Coupe, Veneno Roadster, Aventador Roadster, and Aventador Coupe models) due to a fire risk. If the fuel tank is overfilled under certain driving conditions, fuel can reach the fuel system's carbon canister and purge valves, potentially allowing fuel vapor to contact hot gases and ignite. Lamborghini will upgrade the EVAP system on affected vehicles to address this issue.

- LAMBORGHINI
- Product
- Vehicles: LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR J, LAMBORGHINI VENENO COUPE, LAMBORGHINI VENENO ROADSTER, LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR ROADSTER, LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR COUPE. Units affected: 2,705
- Reason
- In instances where the fuel tank is overfilled and in particular handling conditions liquid fuel could reach the fuel system carbon canister. Fuel reaching purge valves could affect functionality of the fuel EVAP system. This could allow contact between fuel vapour and hot gasses leading to a risk of fire;. This risk may be increased with unapproved aftermarket exhaust systems. Remedy: On affected vehicles upgrade the EVAP system.
