Kia K5 Recall Summary Kia is recalling approximately 68,093 K5 and K5 HEV vehicles produced between August 2022 and July 2024 due to a manufacturing defect in the C-pillar garnish (trim piece). The adhesive used on this component may weaken over time, causing the surface to separate from the main body while driving, which could potentially cause accidents involving other drivers. Kia will replace the defective C-pillar garnish with an improved version.
