Recall Summary BMW is recalling multiple 3, 4, i3, Z4, 2, 6, 5, 7, X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 series vehicles manufactured between July 31, 2020 and February 26, 2026 due to a fire risk in the starter relay. Wear particles can build up inside the starter relay, increase electrical resistance, and potentially cause short circuits that may lead to fires. BMW will replace the vehicle's starter motor to fix this issue.
