BMW Ix: If A Failure Is Detected By The Control Unit The Air Bag Warning Light And Check Control Message Would Not Be Illuminated And Activated

BMW is recalling 6,046 BMW iX and BMW 2 Series Active Tourer vehicles in the United Kingdom because a software issue can prevent the airbag warning light and check control message from displaying when the airbag system detects a failure. BMW will reprogram the airbag control unit with new software to fix the problem.
