The recall was issued after a blood donor self-reported information that should have prevented their blood from being used, and the affected blood product was never transfused to any patient, so no health harm occurred.

Reason

献血後情報の対応手順に基づき、献血した血液の使用中止の自己申告があった献血者について調査 したところ、採血された血液を原料とした輸血用血液製剤が未使用であったことから、医療機関よ り当該血液製剤を引き取り、回収を行うことといたしました。
