2019 Terex Commander 6000 Series - Accessories
Recall Summary Terex is recalling certain Commander and General Digger Derrick models from 2019-2026 (391 units total) because the pole guide plate may not be properly welded, which could cause the weld to crack and the retaining pin to separate, allowing the pole guide arm to fall and potentially injure someone nearby. Terex will mail owners with instructions on how to inspect and replace the pole guide plate if needed. Owners should perform daily inspections of the welds and avoid using the equipment if a weld is cracked.

- Reason
- Issue: On certain digger derricks, the pole guide plate may not have been welded properly. As a result, the weld could crack, and the retaining pin could separate. If this happens, the pole guide arm could fall. Safety Risk: A pole guide arm that falls could create a risk of injury to people nearby. Corrective Actions: Terex will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and replace the pole guide plate, as necessary. Terex advises you to perform a daily inspection of the pole guide plate welds, and not to use the digger derrick if a weld is cracked.
