Maserati Levante: Unexpected Loss Of Engine Power

Maserati Levante Recall Summary A hose connecting the turbocharger to the intercoolers in 125 Maserati Levante vehicles may break during normal driving, causing engine power loss and triggering a check engine light. The affected vehicles are being recalled in the United Kingdom so Maserati can replace the faulty hose, or in some cases the entire intercooler pipe assembly. The issue stems from the hose material not meeting manufacturer specifications.

Vehicles: MASERATI LEVANTE. Units affected: 125
Reason
The short hose on the pipe between the turbocharger and the intercoolers could break during the normal use of the vehicle. This could result in loss of performance and cause the check engine light to illuminate as the hose material may not conform to manufacturers specification. Remedy: Replace the short hose on the pipe between the turbocharger and the intercoolers. In some cases the replacement of the entire intercooler pipe will be necessary; this will be determined by the VIN number.
