Toyota () 4runner: Curtain Airbags And Seat Belt Pre-tensioners May Deploy Incorrectly
Recall Summary Toyota is recalling approximately 20,934 vehicles (4Runner, Sequoia, LX, and LC100 models) because a programming error in the airbag control module may cause curtain airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners to deploy incorrectly when the vehicle is not actually rolling over. This unintended deployment could cause minor injuries to occupants. Toyota will replace the airbag control unit in affected vehicles.
