- A short circuit on the printed circuit board for the washer fluid heater may overheat the control-circuit ground wire. This may cause other electrical malfunctions create an odour or cause smoke. In rare cases it may cause a fire. Remedy: Recall all affected vehicles and install a wiring harness which includes an in-line fuse.
