Vw T-roc: Engine Compartment Covers Could Come Loose From Their Attachment

Volkswagen is recalling 30,316 vehicles (T-ROC, Tiguan, Golf 8, and Arteon models) because engine compartment covers may come loose from their attachment points during normal or intense driving. The covers will be removed on all affected vehicles. This recall applies to vehicles sold in the United Kingdom.

Reason

On affected vehicles engine compartment covers were fitted that regardless of use (very sporty driving style or poor road condition) and operating period could come loose from their attachment. Remedy: On all affected vehicles the engine compartment cover has to be removed.
