Vw Scirocco: Airbag/belt Tensioners May Not Trigger In Event Of An Accident
Recall Summary Volkswagen is recalling approximately 31,032 vehicles from multiple models (Scirocco, Transporter, Crafter, Tiguan, Passat, Golf, Touran, and Up!) sold in the United Kingdom because a manufacturing error may prevent airbags and seat belt pretensioners from activating during a crash. Affected vehicles will have their airbag assemblies and seat belt pretensioners replaced as needed.
