BMW 5 Series: Front Airbags And Seat Belt Tensioners May Fail To Deploy When Needed
Recall Summary BMW is recalling about 2,094 BMW 5 Series and 7 Series vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because a faulty software program in the airbag sensor may prevent front airbags and seat belt tensioners from deploying during a frontal or rearward collision. This defect increases the risk of injury to vehicle occupants in a crash. BMW will replace the airbag sensor to fix the problem.
