2024 Ford Mustang - Visual System
2024-2026 Ford Mustang Windshield Wiper Motor Recall Ford is recalling 4,259 Mustangs from model years 2024-2026 because the windshield wiper motor may malfunction in cold temperatures, causing wipers to operate only on high speed or not work at all, and the windshield washer system may also fail. Reduced visibility from non-functioning wipers and washers increases crash risk. Ford will mail owners instructions to have a dealership inspect and replace the wiper motor if needed.

- Reason
- Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the windshield wiper motor could cause it not to work properly in cold temperatures. If this happens, the windshield wipers may only operate at their high-speed setting and the windshield washing system may not work. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers and a windshield washing system that don't work properly can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper motor.
