Altec Industries: Emergency Stop May Fail
Summary Altec Industries is recalling certain aerial device vehicles from 2020-2025 because the ground-level emergency stop button may not work properly when the machine is in ePTO mode, which could fail to stop hydraulic functions and create an injury risk. Altec will inspect and test affected units, and if wiring issues are found, they will be corrected at no cost. Owners will receive notification letters starting July 10, 2026.
