- It is possible that water ingress into the front axle hub through a seal can cause corrosion which ultimately could result in failure of the wheel bearing. If not rectified this could ultimately result in detachment of the hub and wheel assembly. Remedy: Recall affected vehicles and replace the front hub assemblies.
