2023 BMW 7 Series - Electrical

BMW is recalling approximately 1,946 vehicles from the 2023-2026 model years (7 Series, 5 Series, and M5 models) because the air conditioning system wiring may be routed incorrectly, which could get damaged when the cabin air filter is replaced and cause a short circuit. A short circuit in this wiring poses a fire risk. BMW will mail owners instructions to have a dealership inspect and replace the wiring harness if needed.
