- The track rod adjuster in the track rod tube may not have been correctly positioned prior to clamping. This could result in the clamping force on the adjuster being insufficient. In the worst case detachment of the track rod could occur and cause a loss of steering control. Remedy: Check the position of the track rod end adjuster and reposition it to comply with the specification where found necessary.
