Recall Summary DAF Trucks is recalling certain XF, CF, and LF trucks built between January 2012 and July 2018 due to a defect in the driver's airbag gas generator made by Takata. When the airbag deploys, the defective gas generator can cause uncontrolled expansion and release metal fragments that may injure occupants. The remedy is replacement of the affected airbag module.
