Vehicles: LEXUS LEXUS LS600h, LEXUS LEXUS LS460. Units affected: 96
Reason
The steering control ECU programming for the Variable Gear Ratio Steering system can cause the steering wheel to become off-centred by a maximum of up to 90 degrees under certain limited circumstances. If the driver has fully turned the steering wheel and then very quickly attempts to turn it back to the centre position the steering wheel may temporarily become off-centred. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the steering control ECU.
