Mazda Cx-5: Injector Mounting Nuts Tightening Force May Be Insufficient
Recall Summary Mazda is recalling 33,063 CX-5, Mazda3, and Mazda6 vehicles because fuel injector mounting nuts may not be tight enough, allowing combustion gas to leak into the engine oil. This contamination can clog the oil strainer and cause the engine to stall without warning. Dealers will inspect the engine for contamination, repair or replace components as needed, and re-tighten the fuel injectors to the correct specification.
