Recall Summary Ford Aviator and Corsair vehicles produced between July 2019 and August 2023 are being recalled due to a display system defect affecting 8,555 vehicles. When the car starts, a touch control chip in the central dashboard screen may receive unexpected electrical signals, causing the display to flip upside down or sideways, which can impair the driver's rear-view visibility when reversing. Ford is addressing this issue through a software update to the display system.
