Mercedes Benz Smart Fortwo: Vehicle May Roll Away

Smart Fortwo Recall Summary Three Mercedes-Benz Smart Fortwo vehicles are being recalled because the gear selector lever may not be assembled correctly, allowing it to be shifted out of Park without pressing the brake pedal or having the ignition on. If the parking brake isn't engaged, this could cause the vehicle to roll away unexpectedly. Affected vehicle owners will have the selector lever module inspected and replaced if necessary.
