- Service and parking brake actuator hoses may fail due to insufficient crimping of the metal ferrule on the hose. If one or more service brake hoses fail there would be a marked reduction in braking capability. If a parking brake hose failed the parking brakes would automatically apply without warning. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit quality assured hoses.
