2025 RAM 1500 - Visual System

Recall Summary A software problem in certain 2025 and 2026 RAM trucks can cause the instrument panel screen to stop displaying when you start or drive the vehicle. When this happens, you won't be able to see important information like which gear you're in, warning lights, or other alerts. FCA Canada will send owners a letter instructing them to take their vehicle to a dealership for a software update to fix the problem.

Reason

Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument panel cluster screen not to display when starting the vehicle or while driving. If this happens, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the gear selection, warnings, and tell-tales. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 3.5" instrument panel cluster. This recall also affects certain RAM 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cab incomplete vehicles.
