Ford: Backup Alarm Sound Failure
Backup Alarm Recall Summary Ford is recalling certain 2026-2027 E-350 and E-450 vehicles because the backup alarm connector may loosen and detach, stopping the alarm from working when the vehicle is backing up. A non-functioning backup alarm increases the risk of crashes and injuries since pedestrians and other vehicles won't be alerted that the vehicle is reversing. Ford dealers will replace the exterior sound connector on the frame wiring harness at no cost, with owner notification letters expected to arrive March 9, 2026.
