Mitsubishi Tonneau Cover: Tonneau Cover Could Detach
Mitsubishi is recalling 6 tonneau covers because the metal rod connecting the hinge may not be properly secured at its ends, which could cause the cover to detach from the vehicle. The affected units are in the United Kingdom. Mitsubishi will replace the hinges with ones that have closed ends.

- It has been identified that in some cases the metal rod which connects the 3 profile hinge is not correctly fixed at it's ends. In the worst case the hinge may fail which can case the tonneau cover to detach from the vehicle. Remedy: Recalled vehicles will have the tonneau cover hinges changed for ones with closed ends.
