Daimler Trucks: Insufficient Illumination From Low Beam Headlights (exterior Lighting)
Recall Summary Daimler Trucks is recalling certain 2026-2027 Freightliner trucks (EM2, Custom Chassis S2RV, Custom Chassis S2C, and Business Class M2 models) because a software error may cause the low beam headlights to not illuminate properly. Insufficient headlight brightness can reduce driver visibility and increase crash risk. A fix is still being developed, and owners will receive notification letters starting September 20, 2026.
