2024 Prevost X3-45 Coach - Seats And Restraints
Prevost is recalling 24 units of 2024 X3-45 Coach buses because repairs made during a previous recall may not have been completed correctly, and passenger seat belts may not extend properly from their retracted position. If the seat belts don't extend, they cannot be used, which increases injury risk in a crash. Prevost will contact owners by mail and direct them to a service center for inspection and replacement of the seat belts if needed.

- Issue: On certain buses, the recall repairs completed by a Prevost service center during recall SR24-33 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-521) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required. On certain buses, the passenger seat belts may not extend from the retracted position. If this happens, the seat belts can't be used.
