Mercedes Benz Atego: Earthing Lug On Engine Mounting Bolt May Break
Recall Summary Mercedes Benz is recalling 623 Atego vehicles because the cable lug connecting the ground wire to the engine mounting bolt may break. If this connection fails completely, the vehicle's electrical systems—including the instrument panel, lights, hazard warning system, and engine—can suddenly shut down, increasing collision risk. The fix involves replacing the affected cable lug with a modified terminal lug.
