Nissan Motor () Almera Tino: Passenger Side Airbag May Fail To Deploy Correctly

Recall Summary Nissan is recalling approximately 767,104 vehicles (Almera Tino, Terrano, Almera, Patrol, X-Trail, and Navara models) because the front passenger airbag inflators may have been made with defective propellant wafers. If these airbags deploy in a crash, they may rupture or deploy abnormally, increasing the risk of injury to passengers and potentially causing a fire. Affected vehicle owners in the United Kingdom should have the airbag inflator module inspected and replaced if necessary.
