Jaguar Xf: Fuel May Leak
Jaguar is recalling 367 XF vehicles because the fuel outlet flange may have cracks that could cause fuel to leak. While owners would typically notice a fuel smell around the vehicle, in rare cases fuel could pool underneath the rear and potentially catch fire if exposed to an ignition source. Jaguar will replace the fuel outlet flange.

- Product
- Vehicles: JAGUAR XF. Units affected: 367
- Reason
- Jaguar engineers identified a crack present in the fuel outlet flange on components returned from the market. If a crack is present customers are most likely to detect fuel odour when the vehicle is static from the outside of the vehicle. However in extreme circumstances there could be a pool of fuel underneath the rear of the vehicle which in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a fire. Remedy: Replace the fuel outlet flange.
