Bayer is recalling one lot (JPS8861) of Bayaspirin 100mg tablets, an aspirin product used to prevent blood clots in heart and stroke conditions, because some tablets in that lot are missing printed markings due to a temporary equipment issue during manufacturing. The company states there is no expected serious health risk from the missing markings and no health problems have been reported so far.

Use: 下記疾患における血栓・塞栓形成の抑制 ・狭心症（慢性安定狭心症、不安定狭心症） ・心筋梗塞 ・虚血性脳血管障害（一過性脳虚血発作（TIA）、脳梗塞） 冠動脈バイパス術（CABG）、あるいは経皮経管冠動脈形成術（PTCA）施行後における血栓・塞栓形成の抑制 川崎病（川崎病による心血管後遺症含む）. Health hazards: 錠剤への印字欠損による有効性、安全性への影響はまず考えられず、重篤な健康被害のおそれはないと考えてお ります。なお、これまで本件に関連した健康被害の報告は受けておりません。

当該ロットの製造において、錠剤印刷工程における一時的な機器設定不良により、印字が施されていない錠剤が 一部混入していることが判明したため、本事象の影響を受ける当該1ロットを自主回収いたします。
