Mazda 6: Fog Lamp Security Concern.
Summary Certain Mazda 6, MX5, and MPV vehicles may have front fog light sockets that can loosen and detach due to repeated heating and cooling cycles. If this happens, the exposed hot light bulb could come into contact with nearby vehicle parts. Mazda will attach a spring to the rear of the fog light to prevent the socket from detaching.
