Polaris Ranger 500: Possibility Of Unintended Acceleration

Polaris Ranger 500 Recall Summary Polaris is recalling 2 Ranger 500 vehicles because the throttle cable may have been routed incorrectly during manufacturing. This routing can cause the cable to touch the hot exhaust system while driving, potentially damaging the cable and causing the throttle to behave unexpectedly. Affected vehicles will be checked and repaired by replacing the throttle cable and/or repositioning it correctly.
