- Reason
- The fastening which fixes the front sprocket to the gearbox output shaft may slacken and cause abnormal noise to occur from the nearside of the engine. If the noise is not heard or ignored eventually the rear wheel will lock. This will increase the risk of an accident. Remedy: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and check the diameter of the recess on the secondary gearbox shaft. Fit a revised sprocket fastener kit or where necessary fit both a new secondary shaft to the gearbox and a revised sprocket fastener kit.
