Ford: Vehicle Rollaway Risk (power Train)
Recall Summary Ford is recalling certain 2026 Escape and Lincoln Corsair vehicles because the integrated park module may fail to lock into park, which could allow the vehicle to roll away. The fix is a free software update to the Secondary On Board Diagnostic Module C, which will be available in August 2026 and can be installed over-the-air or at a dealer. Owners who received a notification letter in June 2026 should expect another letter when the remedy becomes available.
