- Through a self-disclosure by supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG Daimler Truck AG was informed that there may have been a manufacturing deviation in Unimog 405 and 437 model vehicles on the ball joints that are installed in steering components (e.g. drag links steering links tie rods). It cannot be ruled out that individual components did not fully undergo the prescribed hardening process and have therefore gotten into vehicles with insufficient material hardness.
